The E-09 DAKAR has a universal tread pattern with excellent self-cleaning properties and superb control on soft and semi hard surfaces. This tire is suitable for use on asphalt and secondary roads, using a heavier sidewall and one extra layer in the carcass for heavier loads and more suitable to tough off road and rocky terrain. The tread provides excellent on-road stability at high speeds. The Dakar E-09 has Superb durability (even when used on the road or off road) and has a high degree of adaptability to various environments. The E-09 Dakar is an ideal choice for road journeys with a high degree of off-road sport use. DOT approved.

The Mitas E-09 DAKAR is an excellent 20 road/80 off-road tire developed for extreme rally conditions like those found in Dakar and Baja.

Same tread pattern as the E-09 Dual Sport, the DAKAR version has 1 extra textile layer (4 ply). The bead area is thicker, stronger and wider than the E-09 Dual Sport version making it stiffer and less prone to punctures.
